Nespakashuti Egyptian statuette from the dinasty XXXVI Nespakashuty was a vizier during the reign of Psametico I. He inherited from his father, Nospamedu, one of the most relevant positions in the Egyptian administration. At that time, 664 before Christ, there were two viziers who were in charge of the good operation of the administration, one in the north and the other in the south of Egypt. Nespakashuty ruled in the south, almost always from the Theban region, where he was also buried. Here he is depicted on his knees behind a large stylized systrum, symbol of the goddess Hathor.
